Entrepreneur; I can't think of another word that's becoming more of a buzz word. More people are calling themselves Serial Entrepreneurs today because the single word Entrepreneur is not enough anymore.
But that's not what entrepreneurship is about.
You don't have to be the guy who grew his business from the garage startup to 100 employees; then moved onto his next venture which landed him $1mil in funding. In fact, you don't even need to own your own business. All you need is you.
All you need to do is be yourself.
We need to forget about what our peers think and start doing what we do best...being ourselves. Forgetting about what makes others happy and really focusing on what makes ourselves happy; this will leave us with so much more brain power to deal with other important, productive thoughts.
Set out to aspire and dream big.
What makes you your own Entrepreneur is that you know where you're at and where you're going. That you know the cost to get you there; whether it's time, money, or materialistic things.
Knowing how to create opportunity and take your own risks is truly what it's about. Knowing how to make sensible lifestyle decisions, and consistently re-evaluating where you're at in the larger picture.
There's something really great about knowing what you want, and knowing how to get it. Not just once because you were lucky, but on a regular basis because you have an aptitude for it. That's the key.
You don't need your own business.
You don't have to have your own business to be an entrepreneur; you can apply all of this to your 9-5...it's about dreaming big and making it yours.
Take control of whatever situation you're currently in and turn it into your dreams.
