Designing for the Mobile Web, with Michael Dick

It's a honor to have been invited to present at Refresh Baltimore this week, December 9th! The event was held at MICA, Maryland Institute College of Art, where I spoke on "The Mobile Web" a topic I've really grown passionate about over the past few years.

It's truly an exciting feeling to be able to prepare slides and share the knowledge I've accumulated through my experience working with great brands such as Mozilla, Mashable, and National Journal.

Having the opportunity to speak at Refresh Baltimore marks my first time presenting outside of Oklahoma. The turn out was great and the response was even better. In support, my friends at nclud wrote a quick post in their sketchbook for me.

Aside from The Mobile Web, inspiring and motivating people to do great things is a passion of mine all in itself. It's the primary reason why I enjoy every chance I'm able to present. I still consider myself new to public speaking, but hopefully in time I'll continue to grow as a speaker.

The guys organizing Refresh Baltimore are really doing a terrific job. I want to thank Mike Brenner, of Sunrise Design, for the invitation to speak, and for hosting me during my stay in Baltimore.

In case you haven't seen my slides yet, here are a few screenshots of my presentation:
